Some collaborations are forged around a conference table. Others lead straight into the desert. Giorgio Armani and Kith have opted for the latter.
On 9 October, the two brands presented their new Autumn/Winter 2026 collection at sunset in the Agafay Desert, south of Marrakesh. A thoroughly fitting setting for a collection inspired by the desert’s colour palette and textures.
So much for a desert look.
Ronnie Fieg, founder and creative director of Kith, delved deep into the Armani archives for this collection. The relaxed silhouettes of the late 1980s and early 1990s served as a particular source of inspiration.
Soft shoulders, flowing trousers, generous cuts. Paired with leather jackets, cashmere, suede and plenty of shades of sand, brown and grey. Classic Armani codes, reinterpreted with Kith’s urban nonchalance.
The exciting thing about this is that it’s not simply a matter of printing a luxury logo onto streetwear. Rather, two different notions of elegance come together – and discover that they get on surprisingly well.
