Power, electrified

It is as sporty as its namesake, the Tiger - and is in no way inferior to it in terms of efficiency: the first Porsche Macan GTS Electric.

It is the fifth Macan Electric - and yet the first of its kind: the Porsche Macan GTS Electric. The drive alone proves that this is a Gran Turismo Sport: the two electric motors on the rear and front axles provide a combined output of 380 kW (516 hp). The Porsche Macan GTS Electric sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. It reaches 200 km/h from a standstill within 13.3 seconds.

Also typical of the GTS and therefore new to the first Porsche Macan GTS Electric: rear-biased weight distribution, a low centre of gravity and intelligent power distribution for outstanding agility and lateral dynamics. Among other things, the Macan GTS has been lowered by ten millimetres - giving it the lowest centre of gravity in its model series. The combined WLTP range of the Porsche Macan GTS Electric is up to 586 kilometres. It can be charged from ten to 80 per cent within 21 minutes at a fast-charging station.

As is usual with the GTS models from the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer, the Porsche Macan GTS Electric also appears with dark accents: These include the black-painted elements on the front, side and rear, as well as the darkened headlights and rear lights. The Macan GTS is fitted with 21-inch Macan design alloy wheels in anthracite grey as standard; 22-inch wheels in RS Spyder design in the same paint finish are optional.

With the introduction of the Macan GTS, three new colours are available for the model series: the historic chalk colour, the GTS-typical carmine red and lugano blue.

For a sporty look, the first Macan GTS appears as standard with extended features in sporty Race-Tex and with elements in smooth black leather. Race-Tex, the microfibre fabric made from recycled polyester from Porsche, accentuates the heated multifunction GT sports steering wheel, the armrests, the centre console, the doors, the dashboard bar and the seat centre panels of the adaptive 18-way sports seats. Smooth leather is used for the seat bolsters and headrests.

Possible for the first time on the Macan Electric: with the optional GTS interior package, you can create a colour match between the exterior and interior: Matching the corresponding exterior paintwork, the GTS interior package is available in a choice of carmine red, slate grey neo and lugano blue. Decorative stitching on the seats, steering wheel, door panels and the upper part of the dashboard are then finished in the respective colour, as are the seat belts and the "GTS" lettering on the seats. The steering wheel also features a badge with coloured "GTS" lettering.
