1000 hp? Almost normality. At least if you call it a "supercar". See Tesla, Porsche, Lamborghini. Why does the new Mercedes-AMG GT four-door still make us raise an eyebrow? It's not just because of its extreme performance combined with the promise of enormous endurance and high-precision driving dynamics.
New engine concept
For the first time, Mercedes-AMG is relying entirely on the specially developed AMG.EA high-performance architecture. The vehicle thus delivers up to 1,169 hp, accelerates to 100 km/h in around 2.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of more than 300 km/h. This is made possible by a high-performance battery combined with three innovative axial flux motors from electric motor specialist Yasa. Two work on the rear axle, one at the front.
