Monaco at its finest

It goes without saying that high-flyer Kimi Antonelli was the talk of the town at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, thrilling fans and frustrating the competition. But off the track, an equally thrilling spectacle was unfolding: TAG Heuer hosted an exclusive evening that captured the unique spirit of the race weekend.

“Monaco has a unique ability to distil everything down to its essence. You can feel the precision of the sport, but also the people behind it. For TAG Heuer, this weekend is about being part of this moment and staying close to the drivers, our partners and all those who shape Formula 1 today,” explains Beatrice Goasglas, CEO of TAG Heuer.

In keeping with this philosophy, the official timekeeper of Formula 1 brought the weekend’s protagonists together away from the racetrack as well. The celebrations took place on a yacht in the port of Monaco – just a few metres from the racing action.

In attendance were Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar, TAG Heuer brand ambassador Patrick Dempsey, and actresses Kelly Rutherford and Hoyeon. The evening was characterised by discussions about racing strategies, impressions of the day’s sessions and the unique atmosphere of the legendary street circuit. The proximity to the track was ever-present – complete with the sound of engines and the thrill of the race.

As well as champagne and motor racing chat, there was also a premiere: TAG Heuer presented its latest watch creation: the TAG Heuer Monaco Speed 12. The model was created in collaboration with La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and reinterprets the connection between watchmaking and motorsport in a technically sophisticated way.

And speaking of Louis Vuitton: for the first time, the race was officially held under the name ‘Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco’. This marks the first time the Maison has appeared as title sponsor at the most prestigious race on the Formula 1 calendar – and it has secured its place on the racetrack with specially designed trophy cases.
