With the unmistakable design of the 911, F.A. Porsche created a sports car icon. The greatest task since then has been to update this perfection over generations.

The book "The Next 60 Years Porsche 911 Design Project" documents the stages of the Porsche design language since the founding of the brand, a scientific analysis of the design process of the original 911 and an outlook on how, from the point of view of young design students at the University of Applied Sciences Munich, the coming vehicle generations could embody the unique design treasure of the legendary sports car icon.

Othmar Wickenheiser, Professor of Transportation Design at the Faculty of Design at the Munich University of Applied Sciences: "We have given the students a high degree of design freedom, in particular to encourage unconventional concepts for future generations.
