Lamborghini put some 25,000 man-hours into recreating the legendary LP 500 prototype that was destroyed in a crash test soon after its debut in 1971. The project wasn’t initiated by Lamborghini, as you might expect, but by an extremely affable but no less persistent Swiss customer.
