"I played for my life, night after night, without ever thinking much about it." Bruce Springsteen said this at the end of the seventies, back when he was on tour with the E Street Band, solidifying his reputation as a rock icon. Photographer Lynn Goldsmith accompanied him; her partially unpublished images are now featured in a limited edition photo book.

A bullish book

Miura, Diablo, or Countach—three legendary Lamborghinis that timelessly captivate the world of super sports cars. Just like the brand itself. So, let's celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Italian luxury super sports car brand Lamborghini in our own way: with the extraordinary and opulent book project "The Lamborghini Book," edited by ramp's editor-in-chief, Michael Köckritz. A book that mirrors the cars and the brand: avant-garde, bold, and innovative.

Strictly limited: ramp Director's Cut Edition with exclusive design sketches by Lamborghini Chief Designer Mitja Borkert

Together with the ramp editorial team and the photographers and authors of the ramp network, Köckritz offers an opulent, entertainingly informative, and vivid stage for the most important Lamborghini models and the history of this fascinating brand. With a comprehensive view of the brand's significance for the pop-cultural and automotive history of modern times, this book project intimately stages all the essential themes that shape it.

Retro-Trip in Pastell

Behind the name Coolnvintage lies a workshop in Lisbon that meticulously restores old Land Rovers with great attention to detail. The passion for authenticity is also evident in the car mechanics' side project: The picture book "Portugal Book" is a tribute to their homeland and simultaneously a journey back to the seventies when life seemed simpler.

Company founder and photographer Ricardo Pessoa, whose nostalgic imagery echoes old Super-8 films, says, "We want to give readers the feeling of stepping into a time capsule and experiencing Portugal from that era, when authenticity was paramount."

Desires

Luxury lures and captivates, polarizes and provokes, and it certainly contributes to the economy. But the essence of luxury goes beyond the material. Luxury touches our senses, our dreams, and our desires. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, the matter doesn't present itself in a readily understandable way. A luxury study that systematically works on the phenomenon before any evaluation as a concept has not yet been found.

Sociologist Werner Sombart defined luxury as "expenditure that goes beyond the necessary." We've made his view the creed of this book project right away. In line with the phenomenon of luxury, the approaches and contributions happily coexist beyond the usual claims of perfection and omniscience, with an exceptionally subjective view for, hopefully, a very special reading and thinking pleasure

Matters of the Heart

Love? A pretty wonderful and wonderfully complex matter. Among longing phenomena, the most desirable. Just like the Porsche 911 among sports cars. Intrinsically fascinating, irrational, and hopefully an eternal connection in an idealistic scenario. Explainable? Not really. Fortunately. What's certain: Love encounters us as the deepest and most precious feeling in the world.

It becomes particularly intense and exciting when we get to experience love in a magical mix of desire and passion as an intensely personal event. 60 years of Porsche 911—that's 60 years representing very personal, highly emotional love relationships with this sports car. Stories marked by love, desire, and passion. Captured in this high-quality illustrated book.

Michael Köckritz: Porsche 911 Everlasting Love Stories. a ramp book. 99 Euros.
