Porsche Design Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition

In 1972 the Chronograph 1 from Porsche Design revolutionized the watch world as the first-ever all-black wristwatch, with a functional design derived from the dashboard of the Porsche 911. In 2022 Porsche Design reissued the legendary watch to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. In keeping with the tradition of the brand, of course, the new edition has been redesigned to be technically state-of-the-art. Visually, however, the same high standards apply to the watch as they do to Porsche’s most iconic car. Like the 911, it must be recognizable at first glance.
