A circular economy with power and style

Recycling is a good thing. It’s even better when good things are looked after so well that they still look as good as new even after decades. That’s exactly what the Heizr Club community exemplifies, with fascinating vehicles that are in tip-top condition despite their age.

On 20 September 2026, you can experience this live once again at the Kaatsch Recycling site in Plochingen. It is the club’s biggest event to date. Better still: There are still tickets available.

The term ‘circular economy’ doesn’t necessarily refer to spinning wheels. Quite the opposite, in fact. In the automotive sector, it’s actually more commonly used when nothing is turning any more. It doesn’t have to be that way. Especially not if you don’t simply view your vehicle as a utility item, but as a companion by your side. After all, a car that still inspires enthusiasm even after forty or fifty years is the best form of sustainability. A circular economy ‘on the road’, so to speak.

Highlights from the Heizr Recycling Club 2025

This is precisely the principle that the Heizr Club community has been embracing since 2021. What began as a small outing with six cars has, under founder Felix Bauermeister, developed into one of the most laid-back classic car scenes in southern Germany. The club regularly brings together hundreds of enthusiasts and their historic vehicles; more than 35,000 people now follow the community on Instagram. 

And because opposites attract, it’s only fitting that the Heizr Club is once again inviting people to the Heizr Recycling Club at Kaatsch Recycling in Plochingen this year. The date: Sunday 20 September, 2 pm to 7 pm.

Last year alone, more than 3,000 visitors came to see over 550 vehicles – a record in the club’s history. This time, it’s set to be even bigger. On the programme are extraordinary hypercars alongside more than 600 classic cars, plus boat action on the neighbouring River Neckar and a shuttle bus taking visitors back and forth between the two parts of the site. There’ll also be food trucks, coffee, drinks and music from the Heizr DJs.

If you’d like to make the journey in a classic car yourself: vehicles must be at least twenty years old. And the good news: there are still tickets available for the Heizr Recycling Club 2026. To get you in the mood, you can click through the highlights from 2025 again here. Not out of nostalgia, but to fuel the anticipation. Because that’s one of the greatest forms of joy. 

Why is that? We explore this in the new ramp #71 ‘Yabba Dabba Doo’, which is out on Friday 11 September. After all, the car is nothing more than institutionalised anticipation. You haven’t even set off yet. But in your mind, you’ve been on the road for ages. To Plochingen, for example, on 20 September.
