The most powerful drive ever built by AMG
Throughout the almost 60-year history of Mercedes-AMG, the drive has always been the heart of the vehicle. With the CONCEPT AMG GT XX, the brand is continuing this tradition – and at the same time introducing an innovative drive technology in the form of axial flow engines.
Three of these motors – two on the rear axle, one on the front axle as a switchable booster – are integrated into High Performance Electric Drive Units (HP.EDU). In combination with a new high-performance battery, they redefine the topic of continuous power. A peak output of over 1,000 kW and a top speed of more than 360 km/h enable a whole new level of performance. Finally, the concept is complemented by highly developed aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of just 0.198 – for maximum stability and efficiency even at high speeds. Series production is planned for 2026.
