Millenials, collectors, fans and time travellers take note: CASIO is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the cult film "Back to the Future" with a very special watch: the limited edition CA-500WEBF-1A.
<p
Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, made the CASIO CA-53 a legend when he wore it in "Back to the Future". The reinterpreted version now takes up the design of the iconic Calculator Watch and catapults us straight back to 1985.
The CA-500WEBF-1A is full of loving details: The polished silver case and retro-futuristic details capture the design of Doc Brown's legendary DeLorean; engraved on the case back is the Flux Compensator - the iconic work of fictional technology that turned the DeLorean into a time machine; the dial is inspired by the time displays in the film; just like Marty McFly's original CA-53, there is a pocket calculator function, including nostalgic push buttons.
The watch is also supplied in special packaging that looks like the case of a video cassette.

Luxury is enticing and exciting, polarizing and provocative, not to mention that it is good for the economy. But the essence of luxury goes far beyond the material. Luxury appeals to our senses, our dreams and our desires. It immediately evokes images that are as precise as they are diverse. Luxury also triggers some pretty clear opinions – both favorable and unfavorable.
