The ‘S’ in September stands for the start of spa season. And in this case, it also stands for the Seehotel Überfahrt. Because at this first-class hotel on Lake Tegernsee, you can now enjoy your break in the newly designed 4 elements spa by Althoff.

A spa experience centre is the perfect way to enjoy wellness in a holistic way. It’s even better when four different spa worlds combine to ensure maximum wellbeing – just as is now the case at Lake Tegernsee. The Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt has completely redesigned its spa area and now welcomes guests to its 4 elements spa by Althoff. 

The concept, developed by Elke Diefenbach-Althoff, combines the power of the four elements – earth, water, air and fire – and reflects them in the four experience zones: water, warmth, tranquillity and movement. The spa’s location right on the shores of Lake Tegernsee is consistently incorporated into the spa experience. The architecture presents the spa as a modern gallery, with natural materials, hand-picked fabrics from Italy, finely coordinated textures and carefully selected details defining the design.

Water World

The 28-metre-long indoor pool is the centrepiece of the spa. Fancy a brisk swim? Or would you prefer to just float along? The choice is yours. The outdoor water world is complemented by a heated hot tub and direct access to Lake Tegernsee via the private bathing beach with a sunbathing lawn.

The World of Warmth

In the ‘World of Warmth’, guests will find a variety of ways to rejuvenate: a Finnish sauna with special infusions, a bio-clay sauna, a herbal sauna, a steam bath and, of course, numerous quiet retreats such as the Silence Lounge and private lounging cabins by the pool.

A World of Tranquillity
The Ritual Rooms are dedicated to the third pillar: tranquillity. Here, the 4 elements spa by Althoff offers massages, beauty treatments and holistic therapies in a private setting.

The World of Movement

Movement is at the heart of the newly refurbished fitness area at the 4 elements spa by Althoff. It offers both personalised strength and endurance training on equipment and functional training. In the Core Room, guests can enjoy a daily changing programme of activities including Reformer Pilates, Pilates, yoga, back and fascia training, and more. Personal training is also available.

The ideal way to enjoy your stay at the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt: the ‘Gourmet Journey’.
