So that’s it
for smooth sailing

Three Mercury Racing engines, each delivering 500 PS, aerodynamic components inspired by the rear sections of Ducati’s MotoGP racing bikes and their extreme aerodynamics, and the characteristic pattern of the Diablo Supercorsa SP – the road-legal hypersport tyre for the Superleggera V4 Centenario – on the side stabilisers: when Ducati takes to the water, it certainly doesn’t do so quietly. To mark its 100th anniversary, the brand from Borgo Panigale in Italy is treating itself to a rather powerful maxi-RIB.

To mark its 100th anniversary, Ducati is taking to the water: In collaboration with Pirelli and boat builder SACS Marine, the Italian motorbike manufacturer has developed the PIRELLI 44 | Ducati Edition, a maxi-RIB that made its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. In a nod to the company’s founding year of 1926, 26 units of the boat will be produced. To ensure everyone recognises what’s gliding across the water, the livery is modelled on the Superleggera V4 Centenario, the current flagship model from the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer.

The boat is powered by three Mercury Racing engines, each producing 500 PS – a configuration developed specifically for this project. Its origins are also evident in its appearance: aerodynamic elements on the engines are reminiscent of the rear sections of Ducati MotoGP bikes, whilst the pattern on the side fairings was inspired by the tread pattern of the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyre.
