Moncler: Have a Puffy Summer

Sometimes it's not so much the story that matters, but the ideal cast. The luxury label Moncler has cast a multi-talented man in the Northern Irishman Jamie Dornan. And he brings summer freshness to the winter-influenced collection. This is how presentable functional clothing works across seasons.

Did you know that Irish actor Jamie Dornan worked as a model before his film career and makes folk music on the side with his band Sons of Jim? He was discovered on the British reality show "Model Behaviour", after which he worked for Calvin Klein, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, among others, before his acting breakthrough came in the role of Sheriff Graham in the series "Once upon a time ...". For Moncler, he is making another foray into the fashion world - as the brand face for the new campaign for the summer collection  "Have a Puffy Summer".

"Puffy Summer" is more than just a collection - it's a reinterpretation of the brand's DNA for brighter, lighter days outdoors. This includes lightweight nylon jackets, T-shirts, shorts and accessories such as hats. Light textures and airy cuts ensure that nobody has to do without the usual functionality here either.

The eye-catcher - apart from Jamie Dornan - and mascot of the campaign is an octopus. Incidentally, it also appears as an oversized version at Milan Design Week. In the pop-up store on the occasion of Milan Design Week the larger-than-life octopus in the creative centre 10 Corso Como provides plenty of energy and embodies a carefree summer mood.
