Midnight Blue: Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Tribute

As we all know, you can't stop time. So it's better to enjoy it. And then rewrite your personal history at the same time. Or continue it. Just like Genesis and Jacky Ickx are doing together. With the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Tribute.

The X Gran Berlinetta Tribute was created from the X Gran Berlinetta, a design study that was presented at the final of the Gran Turismo World Series in Barcelona in 2023. The aim: to give Genesis' passion for motorsport a uniquely attractive and unmistakable form. As a tribute to the impressive career of Jacky Ickx, the vehicle now shines in a special Midnight Blue paint finish combined with a single white stripe. The X Gran Berlinetta is thus reminiscent of Ickx's legendary racing helmet. The flagship concept of the Genesis Magma Line continues to embody the characteristic design philosophy of "Athletic Elegance".

The exterior - athletic avantgarde

The concept features the new Genesis front section, which abstracts the Crest radiator grille and combines it with the Quad Lights. This structures the volume, while the front and rear are connected in an aerodynamic lightweight design by the two-line concept typical of the brand. The side profile is characterised by a generous dash-to-axle distance, which moves the driver and drivetrain to the rear for a slim mid-engine layout. At the rear there is a spoiler and side trailing edges for aerodynamic stability at top speed.

The interior - maximum focus on the racetrack
The focus is on the beauty of the white space. The X Gran Berlinetta Tribute thus creates a clearly organised environment for drivers. Essential functions are highlighted to maximise concentration on the racetrack. The digital panoramic interface serves as an information centre, linked to the digital surround monitoring system, which provides a clear view of nearby vehicles. Steer-by-wire grip commands enable precise and decisive manoeuvring, giving the driver an advantage.

Performance - as powerful as it is beautiful

The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta vehicle concept is powered by a "Lambda 11" V6 front-mid engine, which is electrically supported by Genesis' E-SC technology. The hybrid racing drive delivers a total of 1,071 hp with 1,337 Nm of torque. The rev limit of the V6 engine is 10,000 rpm, the combustion engine delivers a maximum output of 870 hp and 1,071 Nm of torque, which is supplemented by 201 hp and 266 Nm of torque from the Yasa electric motor.
