Italian Icons by the Sea: the Concorso Italiano UAE in Dubai

Classic Italian automobiles, Mediterranean flair and Dubai's coastal backdrop: On 8 February 2026, the Concorso Italiano UAE will take place for the fourth time - with RM Sotheby's as the main sponsor and a handpicked selection of automotive icons from Italy.

The Duden dictionary defines passion as "great enthusiasm, pronounced inclination directed towards pleasure, passion for something that one repeatedly seeks to acquire or possess, for a particular activity to which one devotes oneself with dedication." But one could also simply point to (red) Italian sports cars. The car connoisseurs in Dubai agree - and are therefore organising the "Concorso Italiano UAE" on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa. To date, the Concorso Italiano UAE is the only Concours d'Elegance in the United Arab Emirates dedicated exclusively to classic Italian cars - celebrating engineering, design culture and emotion against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea.

To this day, the Concorso Italiano UAE is the only Concours d'Elegance in the United Arab Emirates dedicated exclusively to classic Italian automobiles.

Classic and modern vehicles from legendary brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo come together on the carefully curated Concours site. Each exhibit tells its own story of performance, design and technical excellence - and is representative of what has characterised Italian automobiles for decades. But the Concorso Italiano UAE does not end at the lawn. Guests can expect a harmonious overall experience of Italian cuisine, a relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle and stylish socialising. The event creates space for encounters: with collectors, enthusiasts and vehicles that can rarely be experienced so closely - far removed from classic car show formats.

"With the fourth edition, we are continuing to build a platform that focuses on Italian automotive heritage and the community behind it," says Zaher Samman, founder of ZS Classics and organiser of the event. "What began as a celebration is now an established meeting place for collectors and enthusiasts - at one of Dubai's most prominent locations."

RM Sotheby's is also continuing its support. "After the great success of the previous edition, we are delighted to support the Concorso Italiano UAE again," said Duccio Filippo Lopresto, Managing Director RM Sotheby's Middle East & Africa. "The event has established itself as a relevant stage where design, technology and automotive history come together - and offers special access to some of the most significant Italian vehicles."
