Let's do it – and look to Beijing: Auto Show is now the largest motor show in the world. There are currently 1,451 vehicles on display, including 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars. The focus is on intelligent and electric technologies.

Fully formed in the direction of high performance: "Time to Shine" is the name of the two-door Gran Turismo concept car that Lynk & Co has now unveiled exclusively in Beijing. Classic Gran Turismo proportions (4.78 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1.33 metres high) combined with light-inspired design with modern electric performance and a minimalist interior are intended to give a glimpse of future high-performance models. This future is here to stay.

BYD

Full throttle on course for growth. BYD - now the fifth largest car manufacturer in the world – is coming up with a whole range of new vehicles. The new SUV flagship, the Sealion 08, is intended for the European market. It measures a beefy 5.11 metres in length with a wheelbase of 3 metres and features flash charging with more than 1,000 kW (i.e. charging at tank level), an all-wheel drive system with two electric motors, 643 hp and an electric range of 900 kilometres. Sounds like the fast lane "Made in China".

Audi

Confident: According to CEO Gernot Döllner, Audi is currently undergoing "the biggest product offensive in the history of Audi in China". The brand with the four rings continues to focus on "Vorsprung durch Technik", while its China-exclusive sister brand AUDI (without rings!) focuses on technological expertise paired with  deep integration into China's digital ecosystem. The latter presents its second model, the SUV E7X. With a length of more than five metres, a width of almost two metres, a height of 1.7 metres and a wheelbase of three metres, the all-electric E7X combines generous travel comfort with Audi's typical driving dynamics. Another highlight at the stand: the Audi R26, with which Audi entered Formula 1 this season.
