Big eyes for "Grey Eyes" exhibition at Espace Louis Vuitton Munich

Fashion is not just art – it also celebrates it time and time again. Louis Vuitton does this at Espace Louis Vuitton Munich, for example, with changing exhibitions by renowned artists. We take a look at the latest one: "Grey Eyes" by Wilhelm Sasnal.

Painter, filmmaker, comic artist: Wilhelm Tomasz Sasnal moves skilfully between disciplines. The Polish artist's career began in 1992 with a degree in architecture at the Technical University of Krakow. He then studied painting at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. His international breakthrough came in 2002. In his paintings, Sasnal deals with a wide range of themes: the Holocaust, pop culture, people and things from his own personal environment. It is always about abstraction and reduction, about opening up room for interpretation, about new perspectives.

Sasnal is now showing selected works from the collection in the "Grey Eyes" exhibition at Espace Louis Vuitton Munich until 12 September 2026.
