What is characteristic of an Aston Martin? Of course, one might answer: James Bond behind the wheel. But that, of course, doesn’t begin to cover it. We know that. And not every steering wheel behind which a Bond actor sits was assembled in Gaydon, UK. Let’s put it this way: the curved bonnet grille is definitely synonymous with Aston Martin. As is the long bonnet with a passenger compartment set well back, of course. Add to that a flowing design language that appears both muscular and aristocratic. Oh yes, and excellent performance. Now close your eyes for a moment and imagine the whole thing on two wheels: it gets tricky when you get to the long bonnet, if not before. But Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s chief designer, has already elegantly solved greater challenges. And he delivers the perfect answer. It’s called the AMB 002 Roadster. This is the second collaboration with Brough Superior. According to popular opinion, they build the world’s most luxurious motorbikes. Let’s just leave it at that.
