There is particular excitement surrounding one film at the current Venice Film Festival: "Primetime", starring Robert Pattinson. Incidentally, he was recently seen in Christopher Nolan’s most commercially successful film to date – "The Odyssey". And before that, in "The Drama", where, according to critics, he gave an excellent performance as the complex character Charlie. On the horizon is the third instalment of the "Dune" saga, which is set to hit cinemas in December with Pattinson in the role of Scytale.

​But it is not just his many successful film projects that are currently drawing attention to the 40-year-old – in a positive light, mind you. His wristwear is also ensuring that the British actor is the subject of much discussion.

At this year’s Oscars, Pattinson wore a rose gold version of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s previously unreleased Master Control Chronometre Perpetual Calendar.

The Swiss watchmaker has now announced that the actor is its new global brand ambassador. At the heart of the campaign is the model mentioned above.
