Johnny Depp is known for many roles. Not only on the big screen, where – from Gilbert Grape to Jack Sparrow – he has played just about every character imaginable, both plausible and implausible. But also off-screen. He has been making music since his youth, has recently been spotted more and more often with a camera – and, for the past four years, with a paintbrush and palette too. At least in public. His works are now on display at Benrath Palace in Düsseldorf under the title ‘The Art of Johnny Depp’.
