All Vespas lead to Rome

Eighty years of Vespa. And Rome is in full swing. Since yesterday, thousands of Vespisti have been celebrating the iconic model’s milestone anniversary in the Italian capital and will continue to take to the streets of the Eternal City until Sunday. The celebrations honour not only the iconic models from eight decades of Vespa history, but also the launch of the exclusive Edizione Ottantesimo.

80 years after Enrico Piaggio filed the patent application for the Vespa, the special edition Vespa Edizione Ottantesimo was unveiled at the Foro Italico in Rome.

The model is already a collector’s item: as a tribute to the year the Vespa was born, this special edition is limited to just 1,946 units, each individually numbered. It is based on the Vespa GTS 310, whose distinctive self-supporting steel body has been reinterpreted. The look is rounded off by an exclusive paint finish inspired by raw steel.
