The Eagle now wears grey

Moto Guzzi is celebrating the Giornate Mondiali Guzzi 2026 until Sunday in Mandello del Lario, the factory where the brand has been manufacturing continuously since its foundation in 1921. To mark its 105th anniversary and the reopening of the factory and museum, it is presenting the limited-edition ‘105th Anniversary Edition’ for the Stelvio, V100 Mandello, V85 Strada and V7 Stone. The design: a pearlescent grey paint finish with contrasting yellow details. The inspiration: the new factory architecture.

Ever since its foundation on 15 March 1921, Moto Guzzi has manufactured its motorbikes continuously at the same factory in Mandello del Lario on Lake Como – a commitment to this location that is unrivalled in the motorcycling world. It is precisely there that the brand will be celebrating the Giornate Mondiali Guzzi 2026 from 3 to 6 September – the largest edition of the event in its history – with the reopening of the factory and museum to mark the company’s 105th anniversary.

In keeping with this double celebration, the ‘105th Anniversary Edition’ brings the colour scheme of the new building, designed by Greg Lynn, directly onto the bodywork: a pearlescent grey paintwork with a glossy finish, which echoes the industrial, metallic look of the new site, combined with contrasting yellow details, similar to those found on the surfaces there.

The special edition is available for four model ranges: Stelvio (also available in a version with driver assistance systems), V100 Mandello, V85 Strada and V7 Stone. Instead of the eagle, the number ‘105’ adorns both sides of the fuel tank vertically; the motif is repeated on the rear wheel rim, and the specially designed seat features a stylised eagle with contrasting yellow stitching. The special edition can be ordered from October and will only be available until the end of 2027.
