Snoopy on board

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, an icon is a a very famous person or thing considered as representing a set of beliefs or a way of life. One could say that, in our case, this applies to both the Peanuts and the Hyundai Pony model. The South Korean brand is now bringing both icons together in its cockpits.

Automotive history meets pop culture meets technology. Hyundai is introducing new display themes for the IONIQ 6, IONIQ 6 N, IONIQ 9 and STARIA Electric models featuring the ccNC infotainment system, which transport vehicle owners into the world of pop culture.

The Peanuts are coming along for the ride: the characters created by Charles M. Schulz have been delighting generations of readers since 1950. This is largely down to their timeless humour and wonderfully likeable characters such as Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock and Lucy.

Alongside the Peanuts, the Pony theme will also be making its way into the cockpits in future: a tribute to the company’s first independently developed production car and, at the same time, its first mass-produced export model.

Whether classic cars or comic book legends – both themes lend the digital cockpit more personality and demonstrate how technology and emotion can be combined to create a personalised driving experience.
