The clock strikes twelve for the new season

To mark tonight’s draw for the 2026/2027 Champions League group stage, Hublot is launching the eighth watch in its partnership with the competition. One thing is certain, at least: the power reserve of the Big Bang Reloaded UEFA Champions League Titanium Ceramic is more than enough to watch the full running time of all the play-off matches in one go – including injury time.

Time has always been a factor in sport. Not just in races, where it’s all about the best time. In team sports, too, every second counts. Without a clock ticking down, there’d be no nail-biting moments in basketball or handball. In football, the thrill of the game is now involuntarily taken to extremes by what can sometimes be epically long periods of added time. Not everyone likes it. But that’s the way it is. Infallible timekeeping is therefore becoming increasingly essential. 

It’s great that, at least in the Champions League, Hublot – a watchmaker with unrivalled expertise in precision – has been a partner for the past eleven years, right from the first qualifying match right through to the moment the trophy is lifted. To mark the group stage draw for the 2026/27 season on 27 August 2026 in Nyon, Hublot is now unveiling the ‘Big Bang Reloaded UEFA Champions League Titanium Ceramic’, the eighth watch to emerge from this partnership.
The 44 mm case, crafted from satin-finished and polished titanium, features a bezel made of polished titanium and blue ceramic – the competition colour. The skeletonised, matt-blue dial offers a view of the movement, whilst the seconds hand bears the Hublot logo. The case back, made of satin-finished blue ceramic, features a sapphire crystal bearing the Champions League logo, through which the in-house Unico manufacture calibre HUB1280 can be admired: a chronograph movement with a column wheel and automatic winding, 354 components and a power reserve of around 72 hours. The strap combines blue rubber with white calfskin featuring a star print and blue stitching, complemented by a titanium folding clasp.

Limited to 100 pieces, the watch is now available in Hublot boutiques worldwide and on Hublot.com, priced at 24,700 euros. It is presented in a box containing a miniature trophy and a hologram.
