Blue Monday? No way!

Tackling your bad mood on the infamous "Blue Monday", the third Monday in January? Either with specially prescribed mood enhancers from the pharmacy. Or an over-the-counter alternative: the blue Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S 63 E-Performance.

Diagnosis: Monday. Bad enough in itself. But on top of that, today is also the third of the current year. And thus the so-called "Blue Monday". According to British psychologist Cliff Arnall, it is supposedly the saddest day of the year. "Blue Monday" is described by the formula

[W + (D-d)] x Tq ÷ [M x Na]

Means: The weather (W) plus the debt (D) minus the January salary (d) multiplied by the time since Christmas (T) and the time since the good intentions failed (Q). The whole divided by the motivation (M), multiplied by the feeling of having to do something (Na). The only problem: the psychologist leaves open how the weather can be measured or in which unit of measurement the motivation should be entered into the formula. It's hardly surprising that science doesn't think much of this theory. This was probably not Arnall's intention with "Blue Monday" either.

What has been proven, however, is that a Monday drive in the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S 63 E-Performance is particularly good for the mood. Because with a peak output of 843 hp and 1,470 Newton metres of torque, it blows away any blues. And it does so immediately. Translated into figures, this means exactly 2.9 seconds to 100 km/h. And on top of that, the Gran Turismo is also four times more effective. Our package leaflet.

Ensures stability:
No matter how twisty the week is, with enough grip you can tackle virtually anything. While the extendable wing ensures grip and stability on changing sections of road, the comfortable but sporty suspension also reliably swallows Monday potholes. Who says the bottom has to be a bad thing?
Makes for positive vibes:
"Blue Monday"? Never heard of it! At least not when the driving mode is set to RACE. This is when the V8 engine mobilises all its reserves and the electronics set the exhaust flaps to full throttle. As a result, positive vibrations easily drown out the third Monday of the year. Especially under full load, of course.
Provides a change of perspective:
True to the old adage "If you drive sideways, you see more": if you look at the start of the week from a different angle with the GT S 63 E-performance, it can be quite positive. Because where there's a Monday, there's always the next weekend.
Provides momentum for everyday tasks:
Yes, we've already mentioned the 2.9 seconds to the 100 km/h mark. However, as a Monday can be a very long one, stamina and stability are also important. The AMG GT S 63 E-Performance proves this with its ten-second sprint from 0 to 200 km/h. And the 300 km/h mark is reached in just 29 seconds. Running? Runs. And how!
