Alpina Gstaad x Harry's Bar: They call it a classic!

When Italian charm is combined with the coolness of London and the unmistakable atmosphere of the Swiss Alps, it can only mean one thing: Harry's Bar is returning to The Alpina Gstaad.

Before we delve into the actual topic, it's worth taking a brief excursion into London's exclusive private club scene: Annabel's was the first nightclub in London to open exclusively to club members and their guests – and also the only nightclub ever visited by Queen Elizabeth II. Annabel's was founded by London entrepreneur Marcus Birley, to whom we owe several exclusive private members’ restaurants and bars under the Birley Clubs umbrella – including Harry's Bar in London’s Mayfair district. And this in turn plays a central role in the Swiss Alps. 

The exclusive club, known for its Venetian-influenced interior design and Italian cuisine, is now finally accessible to ordinary mortals again: as a summer residence in the Swiss luxury hotel The Alpina Gstaad.

After their first joint residence last February, the two are bringing the successful concept back to Switzerland. The five-star resort Alpina Gstaad provides the ideal backdrop: 56 rooms and suites combine Swiss sophistication with regional heritage, while a holistic wellness experience and the impressive Alpine panorama do the rest.

From 18 to 31 July, guests can now look forward to summer in Gstaad in the style of Harry’s Bar. And that means: Italian charm and the finest signature dishes combined with the very British style of the London club meet the special atmosphere of the Swiss star hotel. But it’s best to experience this for yourself.
