A Man and his Watch: Côme Girardot x Panerai
In the extreme sport of Døds from Norway, athletes jump from very high platforms whilst in a horizontal position. It is also known as ‘deathdiving’, by the way. Côme Girardot is particularly good at it. The Frenchman set a new world record in May 2026 when he jumped from an iceberg – putting Panerai’s Luminor Marina through the ultimate test in the process.
