For all easy riders who see a motorbike as more than just a means of transport. They are the symbol of freedom on two wheels: No other motorbike brand in the world has such an almost mystical reputation as Harley-Davidson. For more than a hundred years, the American veteran from Milwaukee has been shaping the motorbike world. The crystallisation point of this fascination is the typical 45-degree V2 engine. From time to time there were single-cylinder engines that were allowed to carry the Harley-Davidson logo on the tank, but the two-cylinder is the style-defining engine. It stands like a sculpture deep in the filigree tubular steel frame. An aesthetic revelation. And a sonic revelation in any case: anyone who has heard the gruff roar of an Early Shovel will never get rid of it again.
