Timing is everything: OMEGA and the Olympics

When (split)seconds decide medals, it takes more than just talent: precision, control - and a perfect timepiece - are what count. As the official timekeeper of the 2026 Winter Games in Milano Cortina, OMEGA is now translating this Olympic and Paralympic spirit into two new watches - a Seamaster and a Speedmaster. There will also be a dedicated brand space in Milan.

Olympic Games are a paradox: their preparation often takes years - but the decisive moments happen in hundredths of a second. This is where the world of OMEGA begins. Since 1932, the brand has set the pace for the Games and acted as timekeeper. This will be the case again in 2026, at the Winter Games Milano Cortina in Italy. 16 disciplines, 116 competitions, countless moments of destiny. To mark the occasion, the Swiss Maison has launched two special models that not only tell the time, but also bring the spirit of the Games to life on your own wrist.

For the current Olympic Games, the Seamaster Diver 300M was therefore given the Milano Cortina 2026 special edition: Its 43.5-millimetre case combines white ceramic with grade 5 titanium, while the dial incorporates the emblem of the Games with a laser-engraved track structure. Rhodium-plated hands with white Super-LumiNova and a soft blue colour gradient on the second hand add cool accents, while the official Milano Cortina emblem is embossed on the case back. The well-known Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 works inside - precise, robust and with a 55-hour power reserve.

The Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 is dedicated to the Paralympic Winter Games, which take place at the beginning of March. Its 38-millimetre stainless steel case combines a deep blue ceramic bezel with a white tachymetre scale, while the dial interprets wintry structures with a white lacquered background and a blue frost look. The totalisers, on the other hand, are reminiscent of freshly groomed ski slopes with a fine azurage finish. The second hand runs in red, blue and green - the colours of the Paralympics emblem - while the official medallion on the case back is a reminder of the Games. The watch is powered by the tried-and-tested Co-Axial Calibre 3330 with a 52-hour power reserve.

Both watches pursue the demand for their own excellence - and the Olympic spirit. They tell the same story from two perspectives: of precision that makes performance visible - and of time that is not only measured, but experienced.
