The history of Rolex is deeply rooted in deep-sea exploration - the luxury watch manufacturer has been supplying reliable timepieces for numerous missions for decades. Now Rolex has brought the essence of the Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date, the archetype of the diver's watch, firmly ashore: with the Rolex Submariner Date table clock. The location-bound piece symbolises the pioneering spirit of the brand.

The Rolex Submariner Date table clock consists of a hemispherical stainless steel case with a diameter of 80 millimetres, which sits on a movable base. The case can therefore be freely orientated in the desired direction. Integrated into the watch is a secular calendar that is programmed for the next 400 years. It takes into account months with 28, 30 and 31 days and leap years - so once activated, it runs correctly for the next few centuries and provides the date display via the viewing window at the 3 o'clock position.

The bezel of the Rolex Submariner Date table clock is made of black ceramic and has a 60-minute graduation. The Chromolight coating on the hands, indices and the chaton moulded into the bezel ensures that they glow blue in the dark - for ideal readability in any situation. The heart of the table clock is the quartz movement, which is powered by two batteries.
