Disruptor: The Macallan HORIZON

"The collaboration with Bentley has inspired us to look at things from a fresh perspective," they say at The Macallan. To mark the 200th anniversary of the world's leading distillery, there is therefore a very special whiskey, HORIZON.

One is tempted to say: an unusual co-operation. But it must be emphasised: it is a successful one. We are talking about a very special whiskey, The Macallan HORIZON - which the world-famous distillery has developed in collaboration with Bentley. It is characterised by an artistic, unusually horizontally arranged vessel - filled with an equally extraordinary whiskey. Surrounded by a precision-crafted aluminium band, it honours the luxury essence of both brands and challenges the conventions of traditional whisky bottling.

The special appearance is visually rounded off by elements ranging from the finest leather and copper to oak wood and walnut veneer. And if you are now asking - and quite rightly so - what the HORIZON tastes like: rich flavours of dried fruit and spices blend harmoniously with notes of oak and leather, while the full-bodied finish echoes the timeless quality and design of Bentley.
