Porsche Design x Orlando Bloom: The Lord of Design

Actor Orlando Bloom is known for preparing intensively for his roles. Most recently, he lost a total of 24 kilograms for his portrayal of a boxer in ‘The Cut’. Equally important to him is his role as brand ambassador for Porsche Design – as he now demonstrates with his own exclusive collection.

The collection developed jointly by the 49-year-old and Porsche Design includes a limited-edition leather jacket and the iconic P'86007 sunglasses in three different colours. This was the first time the Brit had been involved in the design process for a capsule collection. He seems to have taken a liking to this kind of creativity: "This creative journey is a great pleasure and a real privilege, as it opens up new ways for me to express myself."

Double design
The black leather jacket with hood is made from water-repellent premium leather. But the best thing is that the oversized jacket is reversible and can therefore be worn on both sides. Ventilation openings with a zip under the sleeves also make the jacket really comfortable to wear – making it the ideal everyday companion. Also attractive: the discreet Porsche Design branding on the left sleeve and Orlando Bloom co-branding on the right sleeve.

New perspectives
The new P'86007 sunglasses translate the striking Shield look of the 911 Targa P'8954 model into the year 2026, which looks like this: Ultra-light titanium, VISION DRIVE™ lenses and a precisely developed Shield Protect construction pick up on the iconic Targa aesthetic and transfer the function of the legendary roll bar into an innovative design. The Shield lens is therefore reliably protected even when the glasses are turned upside down. You can choose between the colour variants titanium/black with grey lenses, gold/olive green with brown lenses and black/palladium with blue mirrored lenses.

Bloom's collection is available online and in  Porsche Design stores - the sunglasses can also be purchased at selected specialist retailers.
