When it comes to style, Hotel Locke Copenhagen follows the three basic principles of Nordic simplicity: naturalness, a sense of home and cosiness. The colour palette picks up on the Copenhagen landscape: Earthy terracotta and pink tones, mossy green and calming shades of blue and grey create a warm, harmonious atmosphere throughout the home.

The reception combines the historical with the modern elements of Copenhagen; with red whitewashed walls and exposed wooden beams reminiscent of 17th century Danish architecture. Warm, sculptural lighting completes the overall picture.

The 234 rooms and apartments at Hotel Locke Copenhagen from City Studio to Junior Suites to Penthouse Suite with panoramic view were designed by the renowned studio Grzywinski+Pons. They blend seamlessly into their surroundings in terms of style while creating an intimate atmosphere. The interior was designed by London-based design studio A-nrd to combine Denmark's design DNA with the vibrant energy of Postbyen.

Culinary delights at Hotel Locke Copenhagen

And beyond the stylish rooms, the hotel is an urban meeting place in Postbyen thanks to its gastronomy. LUQA promises culinary Italian-inspired joie de vivre from morning to night. And the rooftop bar is set to open on the eleventh floor later this year - expanding the horizons of sophisticated cocktails, and not just at the golden hour.

Hotel Locke Copenhagen is housed in two of Postbyen's five striking round towers. With its central location right next to the main railway station, the hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the Danish capital: Only a few minutes' walk separates guests from Tivoli and the lively Meatpacking District (Kødbyen). Culture, cuisine and nightlife? All right on the doorstep. Just like swimming fun at Havnebadet Islands Brygge or relaxation in the numerous parks.

A quarter of an hour away by bike or car, you can also have fun at the Amager Bakke waste incineration plant, which won the World Building of the Year Award in 2021. You read that right: The 170 metre high building, better known as "CopenHill", is not only a power plant, but also a leisure park with Europe's highest climbing wall, ski slope, picnic area and hiking trail.
