We love Ulf Poschardt because he speaks with a clarity and passion that have become rare these days – about things our increasingly rationalized and moralizing world tends to frown upon: freedom, speed, individualism and style.

Ulf Poschardt is recognized as a sharp-thinking, incisive journalist, author and media entrepreneur. In his recently self-published essay “Shitbürgertum” [literally “Shit Citizens” or “Shit Middle Class”], he mercilessly and scathingly takes on the political and societal establishment, as well as the zeitgeist in general. The reactions? Shock and outrage, as expected. Obviously, he had hit a nerve. So we wanted to know more. Spoiler alert: we didn’t get any sugar-coated answers.
